The clip on your techno looks much darker than mine.

Is that stock or did you modify it?

It is a stock clip. The Techno and Southard both have an "AM" (January 2013) date code. However, the Techno clip is darker than one I purchased last Summer.

Great comparison shots. I love my Southard as well, I really have been itching to pick up a Techno. Just not sure about the size yet. The Techno looks like it is a very well made knife just like the Southard, that Taichung factory is really doing a nice job.

I must say I love the Southard now that I've carried it a while. To keep this short, it's as good as a CRK or SK and I like the steel better. After finally learning to sharpen the 204P, it gets laser sharp(like that) and truely holds it a long time. It was a tough learning curve :eek:

I haven't had a chance to put the Southard to any hard use, but it feels great in my hand.
