The Ulize to me seem more appropriate for use in the woods as a folding kukhuri that for the intended use. I would probably choose this over many other spydies, but that is just speculation. I really want to get one to try it out i hard use.

I'd like to know what you guys think about this. Thanks for pointing me to this thread, but I was more looking for the opinions of regular posters on this forum, because I use the Spyderco Police 3 as a comparison.
That being said, I think I'll follow your recommendation and ask the designer too. Though I'd still like to hear what some of you think.
