Sweet! Even with the broken tip still a handy little pocket blade. This was my first Spyderco many moons ago, gifted it to a co-worker and regretted it since. Hope you enjoy it! :-)

So far so good. Sharpened it up a few hours ago and man, is it wicked sharp!

Nice. Just file or grind down until there's a point. It'd look great curved down like a Wharnie.
- best wishes, Jazz.

It has been a while since the SpyderCard was in the main line up. It's one of the few Spyders of that era that I never owned. It's also one of the very few Spyders with AUS-6 blade steel along with the Vagabond and a couple of others. I say it's collectible from that standpoint alone.

I like the concept of the SpyderCard model but I do wish it would have been available in full SE. I hear that they fit in most wallets nicely. I never even knew of many guys who owned one either. It's kind of like the SpyderSaw in a way>> it was sort of a novelty that just never caught on for some reason.

In another 4 to 5 years I look for it to be a serious collector piece because you just don't ever see many of them around at all.

Whoa, a blunt tip Spydercard! You could even completely round the tip and make a Rescue Spydercard out of it. ;) Anyway, it's a nice find, congratulations and enjoy it.
Maybe it's time for an updated version (say with Titanium handles and H1 blade)? :)

Thanks JD and Dialex! A Titanium/H1 variant would be pretty sweet!

Lived in my wallet for years, took it for granted and would love to see it make a comeback. Great idea Dialex, H1 and Ti would be awesome, so is that Battlestation btw mate! Just wish there Slipit versions of all choiled, sub 3 inch bladed Spydies for those of us that are geographically challenged. Shame so many of my favourites never get off the property! Not sure if the laws were different when I had that Spydercard or if I was just blissfully ignorant, either way at least she got to go out and about. Looking forward to the after mod photos Chevy.
