Tough decision
Tough decision
I'm looking for a new EDC and after reading and watching videos, I still can't decide between the Sage 1, the Native5 or the Chaparral. I ended up ordering all 3 with the intent to see which fits my hand the best and sending the other 2 back. I hope I have the ability to make a choice once I've handled all 3.

I own a Chaparral...love it! Perfect small(ish) knife.
I have held and fondled a Native5...just didn't do it for me.
Never held a Sage1, but it also doesn't have much draw for me.
So I guess I vote Chappy! :)

Apparently, arachnophobia is not a condition from which I suffer.... :spyder:

I went to pick up the mail today and guess what I found.
All three of these knives are very nice and I handled them back and forth trying to decide on which one.
Each is appealing in it's own way but the Native5 was the first one out of the running which really surprised me. Perhaps if I had actually used these prior to making the final decision that wouldn't have been the outcome, but I was determined to keep only one.
I took a few pics with my current EDC for size comparison.
The 890 Torrent is my first quality folder and if you've never owned or tried one don't over look it due to the brand, it's actually a very nice knife that carries really well.
I should apologize for my pics and lighting. I threw an old fleece hunting jacket on my reloading bench and the CF light above it isn't the greatest.
