I checked the FAQ and I don't think this is against the rules. If it is, moderators please delete this thread. I just though some people would like to know that the Canadian store Warriors and Wonders found a misplaced box of pe and se original new in box Native 3's. they are on the site and ready to go!

Just an FYI. And no I don't work there lol.

Cool info.

Honestly, I much prefer my 5 to my 3, but I do like the clip on the 3. Wish that had remained through the updates. Maybe it could return on the 5 lightweight. That would be cool!

I like my wire clip on my Native 3, and the feel in my hands is terrific, but mine has more resistance to opening than I would like, even after over 1,000 cycles, and I hear that is typical of them. I've tried different kinds of lubricant, teflon, graphite, etc -- they helped, but didn't get it as smooth as any of my other spydies. I think it is a combination of the pressure of the backspring, and pressure from the FRN scales on the sides of the pivot - no adjustment screw.

IMO the Native III had a much better handle and clip than its successor. I think the Native III style FRN handle and clip with the Native 5 FFG blade would be an interesting and practical knife in the same way the Manix 2 FRN lightweight is.

I had a Native 3 and loved it. Might grab an SE. I had the PE before and it was nice. I liked the feel of that chunky handle personally.
