I think Henry said it best:

Of course, I don't mind color variety, but I'm not a big fan of some of the fruity colors. Keep them all Earth toned and I'd be happy. As for brown, I have no problem with it but I do wish it was a bit darker.

Hey guys,
I think the Southard looks great with the brown g10.
I've seen one modded with foliage green g10 and it looked awesome, but that's also my favorite color g10.
It also looks good with carbon fiber.
I'm not a fan of the bright colors being offered, but some more earth tones would be OK with me.
Later,
Don

The brown G-10 is actually pretty attractive. I didn't know what to expect at first, but I actually really like it on my Nilakka.

I love a black knife as much as the next guy and the bright colors appeal to me as well, but bring on more darker earthy colors.

This is only the 2nd brown G-10 model I own (XHP Military too) and I really wish this is the color the M4 Manix would have been.

Please could we move on from the brown G10 and offer us some better colors.
The brown G10 is one reason I keep putting off buying a BS flipper. It would look really nice with black G10 I think.
Thank you,
Upul
The thing keeping me from buying that knife is the flipper. The color rocks.

How about some nice black paper micarta? I don't care if it shrinks a little. Same for wood. now& then, one some models, you could also bring back different colored bright anodized aluminum. I loved that about the Salsas. Mix it up.

Yea the camo handles are turn-offs to me. I'd love to see the British Racing Green in G-10 :D

Orange is always a hit for me, I don't mind the brown but then again I don't own one yet either.

Haha so what we've learned is that many people have very different tastes when it comes to handles. Spyderco should just offer a variety of styles and colors to appease us.

Oh wait... ;)

I wouldn't want all my knives to be brown but I do like the brown G10. I'm not a big fan of the foliage green, blue is probably my favourite with brown second. I like a good mixture, if my whole collection was black it would be kind of boring. Spyderco gives us a good selection but seems to like using the same colour for awhile (buy in bulk?)

I like the brown OK.....I liked the foliage green G-10, too. I hope the grey G-10 won't be reserved exclusively for SB variants. I'd like to see the Ocelot re-released (minus the "paw prints") in grey G-10.

I disagree. This is what sets the sprint run apart from the others. Its part of what makes it more special.

I have no problems with brown,I'm not a fan of the Smurf blue, but to each his own.

I also like the brown. Got it on the Delica, P2 & Southard. I won't buy a black knife anymore. I have really liked "earthy" colors lately.
