My money would be on either a super wear resistant steel, or knapped obsidian.

Obsidian as in volcanic glass, Aztec sword obsidian? Is this for cool factor or is it really practical?

Any slipits? There's a lot of people this side of the pond that would love some slipits with more exotic steels :D

Here's what you can in good conscious do: tell us if the steel is special or if c.joes' quote,
Eric accidentally slipped the steel type for the forum knife when I asked him and he said he can only work on it with such limited machinery.
was a misunderstanding. In other words does the steel need special machinery or did Eric just mean that any machine time in the factory is hard to come by?
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Please show any pics of super large folder! Voyager XL is a big honking (although inherently inferior) blade.
