How do you store you Spyderco/knife collection? I'm thinking of picking up a Spyderpac but what do you like?

Hey Kirk,
I keep my knives in lockable aluminium pistol cases.
The egg carton foam keeps things nice, safe and cozey.
I have some single sided and some double sided.
I also like that they're stackable and portable.
Later,
Don

Mostly on my person and on my desk and on my dresser. I'm looking into better options though as the collection grows, just a few I'm considering so far: eight drawer chest, two drawer chest.

I'm interested in other ideas as well, but these seemed cost effective.

After seeing a post by another forum member here, I invested in a pelican case that will hold all my folding knives. Each of them in a vertical configuration like whales peeking out of the ocean. I will post a picture later.

Unfortunately, I can fit all my knives on a tiny shelf. :( I'm still trying to fix that. And I fold a piece of cardboard, cut into it, and use that as a blade stand.

Top drawer of my dresser...that's a small SpyderPac. I'm considering buying another since this one is full and the large variant won't fit with the other items in the drawer.

We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Display part of it in three curio cabinets. The rest are stored in their original boxes, label end up, in a larger, deeper, single drawer version of the Sterilite cabinet michaelm uses. I keep the boxes for the ones on display in an under-bed storage box.

A series of Sterilite boxes of different depths. Knives in their boxes standing on end so I can retrieve the one I want out of that box. Very shallow box for older ones with the label on the side.
Now if I could figure out a way to quickly get me to the correct box..... :) Boxes are stored where ever I can find room.

I made a box one weekend and had some pik'n pluck foam from a Mastercraft case. Old pic as it's setup differently now. Also a few sitting on my dresser and in a small storage box in my den.

I have a 8 drawer watch crystal storage case from the 1920's that I bought at a estate sale. Most of my folders go in there. Fixed blades go in a gun safe dedicated to knives.

Just recently upgraded my knife storage to a Pelican 1300 Case (totally dig it!).
Image

As you can see I do not have a monster collection, like many do, but it actually holds more than it looks like it should... as seen here (and I still have room for several more knives as time goes by).
Image

(BTW, the 2 open slots in the top pic are for reserved for a couple of Para2s I have on order that should be arriving shortly... and there are a few knives I don't keep in the Pelican as they have dedicated uses (ie, in desk at work, in EDC backpacks, etc... but this is the bulk of my "collection" as it were.)
Apparently, arachnophobia is not a condition from which I suffer.... :spyder:

I have a decorative box on my dresser in which I keep my EDC knives. Fixed blades and others I don't use are with my firearms.

I group mine in small boxes. Then I put those boxes in a bigger box labeled "TAX RECORDS Do Not Dispose". Hee hee.

I have a showcase in my living room, formed by four shelves, where each Spyderco is inserted through a cork of a bottle of wine :) I have also tried to combine the type of wine to the knife, but it's almost impossible... I'm crazy or someone else does something like that? Do not make me feel lonely please.
