Spyderco for Space Travel

I happen to be an advocate for space travel and space expansion, and a fan of Spyderco Knives. My question: What are some of the best Spyderco knives for use in space, for when human beings start to seriously live and work and play there, in colonies, in habitats, space stations, and the rest?

New processes will also allow the construction of amazing new metals and alloys, such as vacuum-melted steel and nanostuff.

I'm thinking gloved hands will be common so I am thinking larger handles would be nice.

Honestly, the same knives that make sense in diving, in aircraft, in climbing, etc. Lightweight, serrated, high quality steel, etc.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

There was discussion of a "NASA" version of the Bushcrafter when it first came out. IIRC, it would have had carbon fiber scales and an S90V blade. :spyder:

S90v wouldn't be my cup of tea with a scandi grind, , , ,but a FFG with CF scales would be wicked sweet.

I understood that everything taken for space travel is purpose built for the mission. What would the mission members be cutting? I am also for the sheepsfoot blade style. Can't have pointy things floating about.

I am also wondering whether the SonicSpyderdriver (a version of the sonic screwdriver) would get made before the SpyderSabre.

Perhaps the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) might already have some specs for a space knife.
