Very annoying

Before you read you should know that this thread is pointless, and deserves to be in the "off topic" category of the "off topic" lol

Spell check...we all love it and use it right? Best thing ever invented on a forum. Allows us not to look really stupid misspelling words all over the place. That's just great except while I am typing a reply or posting a new thread, spyderco is always underlined red lol. I know this is really dumb but it just irks me considering we are on a spyderco forum. I wish Vbulletin had a spell check dictionary.... Nevermind! LOL I literally just noticed that you could add it to the dictionary.. I am still contemplating whether to even post this lol. Remember that part about Spell check keeping you from looking stupid, Unsuccessful!

Aye. It is for this reason that I generally type my posts in MS Word prior to submitting them online. I don't need any extra help looking silly. :)

Nice Ive never thought about that, and yes David i don't use it much mainly for typeos. but if you have never used it then the word "spyderco" has to be in red, and therefore some what annoying lol. Mainly because it is their forum

Don't quote me but I believe there to be apps or certain spell checks that allow the addition of words you would like to add that wouldn't otherwise come up.
For me predictive text check is super annoying and also its never right I have higher functioning autism and dyslexia so it can be a great aid but I agree its annoying too.

Just right click and add to dictionary. It won't underline it in red again unless you spell it wrong.

I've noticed a lot of common words on forums that are red like aftermarket on car forums.
