I have been good all year and all I want for Christmas (2013) is a sprint Native 5.
All my family: my wife, my son, my sister, my nephews, nieces, my inlaws and I were good :D and all we want Natives5 too: dark green G10, orange G10, bone, wood, 204P, Elmax, M390, S90V, B75P,and XHP will make us very happy and thankful. And we will continue be good.

I will find money for almost any N5 sprint, but I need stainless. Can we agree on XHP or S90V or M390. Would you pass on Native5 with B75P? I really do not care for CF and prefer wood, bone, smooth G10 or micarta, but I will compromise for you. :)

Sal pretty much answered this in another thread where he said:
Like Holland, my interest level would depend a lot on the steel, but in my case about the only thing that would really get me excited would be something like Odin's Eye Damasteel or Devin Thomas Banded Ladder or Bubble Wrap stainless damascus.sal wrote:We have many combinations planned for the Native5. We'd like to wait until the lightweight mold is finished to make them more affordable. Some will be coming our with the G-10 version.

I am in. I just hope that there will be as less as possible holes and screw on the bolsters.phillipsted wrote:How about Ironwood with titanium bolsters - sort of a cousin of the Sage IV?

Paul, I read this. And consider it a good idea for the price a little higher than mules and much less than paras you will get ready to use folder. Unfortunately for me FRN is far away from being preferred handle material. The Deacon wrote:Sal pretty much answered this in another thread

I'd be in....but not with FRN, nor if it was given the same lightweight treatment that the Manix 2 was given.
I have my issues with this design, so it has to be something special for me to spend on it. M4 and CF sounds perfect.
I would take a Micarta version with M390 or something interesting too.
CTS-XHP would be a steel that I might spring for as well, though I have the Techno which would be maybe too similar in terms of size and performance.

Id be in, love the n5. I prefer a better steel and no g-10 or frn. As mentioned before, I like wood. Cf is ok, but I'm starting to get as many cf knives as g-10. I will probably buy one no matter what

I'm sure I will find the money if need be. Maybe 204P or B75P or Cru wear, FFG, Black DLC coated bolsters with Jade handles, Tip up carry only. Anyone else feeling this or something new like this? I think Spyderco needs more G-11 in it's lineup.
