What are your plans for your Spyderco Christmas Haul

#1

Post by kbrouwer »

Like me, a lot of you probably receive a lot of gift cards for Christmas. I assume that if it's possible, you'd use them on Spyderco knives. What knives do you plan to pick up with your Christmas funds?

Here is my list..

Military (either G10 or plain Titanium I haven't decided yet)
Sage I
Cat
Native Lightweight
Paramilitary 2 if possible

Yes, I know this is like $100 worth of knives, I just made a small list for myself to pick from, deferentially a military and maybe one or two others.

Probably aiming for a Southard Flipper. I'll have to add some funds to it.

The Gayle Bradley is a must have. The fit & finish from Taiwan is superb. You can feel the quality.

My short list: Perrin PPT, Sage 3, and Jumpmaster.

Eh, for us Christmas is for my kids, me and the Mrs. don't even exchange gifts. We focus all our efforts on making the kids' Christmas as awesome as we can.

Now, some time around mid February comes a holiday that we like to call Taxmas. When the refunds roll in, me and momma go shopping :D

At that time i'm likely going to get some of those honey comb Ti scales for my 20CP Para 2, and I'd like to pick up a DLC Military, and probably the upcoming Caly 3 sprint.

My Xmas gift to me was going to be a S35V Para 2 and a Navaja ordered from a stateside online shop but the dealer made such a balls of my order they charged my credit card twice without securing my order and went out of stock of the Para 2 before they could sort it all out.

I thought I might cheer myself up by buying an XHP mule instead - shame there's no way that will get here in time for Xmas.

I would gladly give back every Spydie I own to get my Christmas wish. An end to the senseless violence in this world. Amen.

Lean times this Christmas. Wifey is getting me an A.G. Russell Orca because it is cool and affordable. Maybe a Spydie next year!

Giving a few. Don't imagine I'll be receiving any though. But that's just fine. I'm already very blessed. :)

Merry Christmas, though.
