Which fixed blade do you wish was a folder?
It seems knives started with fixed blades and folders developed out of a need for pocket-ability. Which knives do you wish would be evolved into a folder?

Interesting question :) It seems the majority of styes have already made that evolutionary leap. Turning a FB into a folder would most likely create a unique species only partially resembling it's ancestor
A far fetched example would be the Swick and Balance

Personally, I wanted a folding Street Beat, and Dialex basically got it with the Junior. A little blade mod and you're basically there.
You hit on a neat idea Charlie. I think that Eric got closer than the balance with the Bi-fold in terms of getting the Swick to fold. Folding a swick would be a heck of a challenge. I know Gerber also tried, and IMHO didn't get it right. Perhaps the best attempt to date is a Brous Silent Soldier flipper.
I'd really like to see another iteration of the Temperance folder.

The only problem is to fit the 11.5 inch blade in the 6 inch handle :)
otherwise a Foldable Fallkniven F1 would be nice :)

Caspian Salt. It's the only fixed blade I regularly carry, so I'd like a legal version for EDC.

The Hossom folders are still available:xceptnl wrote:I would like to see a Spyderco Dayhiker Hossom in a folder, but I believe it would resemble the BM Skirmish designs by Neil Blackwood.
