Jess Horn Spyderco's
Welcome aboard, Dave I! Those are great knives. As you said black macarta handles, it also came in other colors of macarta, and an FRN model. They have a 3" blade, with a 4" handle, in other words the same size as the Delica. If I remember right the steel is AUS8A. I started to buy one years ago, I wish that I had! Good find! RKBA!

jess horn II, c34, black mic, 8a, pg 23 of 96 dealer cat.. intro'd 95
c38 is frn(8a, with "jesshorn" repeating for the handle grip), c27 is bone(ats-34)
ag russell has a SS version at: http://www.agrussell.com/spyderco/agsp-2ss.html
and I beleive there's a white mic version around somewhere.
gun con·trol n. definition 1. The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker received that fatal bullet wound. 2. The ability to hit what you are aiming at. 3. The first key step of a corrupt political agenda where good citizens are disarmed so that a dictatorship may replace a democracy in the future.

Dave I: Jess Horn is my absolute favorite designer. It is reported that he is near retirement. I am intent on acquiring as many of his designs as possible. If they appeal to your eye, I would suggest you do the same. A.G. Russell's website offers two Jess Horn models--an all--stainless steel Spyderco (3-3/4-inch handle) and a black micarta model (two sizes). Beautiful knives. A search of the Internet to see some of Jess's handmade custom models is a treat.

mmm... I have plenty of praises for the Jess Horn-Spyderco collaborations.. They are amazing! My favourite was the Jess Horn lightweight.. It was stolen some years ago! I really loved that particular ! Some small quantity are still available at AG-RUSSELL knives..
