That's pretty amazing. Also, very effective if the fly happens to be a witch in disguise.

I use an airsoft P22 with 0.122 shot, and it is lots of fun. You feel like a mix of Mr. Miyagi and Rex Applegate.

I thought this way was a great way to get rid of bugs, but shooting them with salt is way better.

Would be great for killing witches too.

I used to have a .22 iron sight Montgomery West (Mossberg) rifle, but i never got around to putting those CCI ratshot 22 rounds through it. If I were still at the farm, I would have.

Okay, the prices sound workable but at that range I am deadly effective against all manner of bug with a pump BB gun.

Shooting just air.

I know people who use high powered PCP air rifles to shoot bugs, they will actually flatten bugs on the spot, although a bit messy if that bug is particularly gooey inside.

When I was a kid, I had a childhood friend who would kill mosquitoes with a S&W model 1917 revolver. He would load the .45 acp shells with just a primer (no powder, no projectile), lay back in bed in the summer, track the offending pests flying around, and bring them down with just the gas from the primer detonation.
