Yes, bronze washers, sorry for the confusion. I also dropped by a couple microbreweries in Denver today and clearly my brain isn't quite 100% :D

Thanks,

The handle is diamond shaped, that's the best I can describe. Looks kind of odd, but feels pretty comfortable. Not quite traditional pukko shaped, but an interesting interpretation of the style.

For a closer look, see the prototype from the Amsterdam Meet, March 2012.. to have a 'feel' of it. Video of the prototype included..

The flexy scale on the lock side seems a little weird to me but I think I would need to handle the knife to know if it was going to bother me.

i was curious why this knife was a little on the high side. i was thinking it should be a bit closer to about $130. No science behind my thought, just more of a comparison to the rest of the lineups.

Grind, bead blasting the scales, transportation, inflation...gnarlyness, triangular handles. Custom clip.

And I believe you can add it's a collaboration model with Pekka Tuominen? That makes it higher when you add a custom maker into the mix.

Blade HQ got some in (and sold out already apparently) at $192, which is cheaper than the fixed blade puukko went for. It looks like it will be a very good slicer, I'm sure I'll end up getting one. Though I haven't used my Puukko a whole lot, I do think it looks very nice, and it works very well for wood carving/fire prep.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
