Well the Yojimbo is basically a folding version of the Ronin lol...

Bit hard to get one of those. :)

And it would be kinda hard to use since they are not readily replaceable.

Two things:

First, the Yo2 aluminum trainers are up on the Stay Safe Media site in the training tools section. Get them while you can.

Second, if you're interested in a "throwback" Ronin that is also product improved, I cut a deal with my friend Mickey Yurco to make a limited number of them for sale through Stay Safe. In rough numbers, we're looking at 10 per month for a year--so about 120 pieces total. Mickey is an incredibly talented knifemaker and a long-time student of MBC. His handmade Ronins are faithful to the profile of the original, but hand hollow ground from 440C. The polished G-10 handles are shorter than the original, leaving the index finger groove and the lower guard exposed to serve as retaining points for the sheath fit. Most of these will have black G-10 scales and clear acrylic pins, but Mickey also did a few one-offs with different colors. All are available exclusively through Stay Safe and will be up on the site soon. If you want to lock one in now, call. Here's a pic:

Got a chance to try one of the trainers from Stay Safe, it's as good as we're going to get until Spyderco does an official version. Obviously the handle texture is different (g-10 vs aluminum) but the dimensions and balance are spot-on. Very cool!

I just got mine today-well worth it. My Yojimbo 2 is 4.15 oz. the trainer came in at 4.00. Balance is dead on. Very happy with it, and a big thanks to Mike Janich for making these available!

Ay Mike do you have more pics of the Yurco, I would be interested but the pic posted makes the Yurco piece look very different from the original Ronin Profiles....Thanks....Doc :)
