Well it's National Knife Day, what was I supposed to do? :D
3 7/8" blade, 8.5" OAL. D2 steel, G10 handles, and linerlock. Also, the hole's not supposed to be a spydie hole, but instead it's a backup stop pin, so when the lock travels too far over, then I can just hammer in another pin and reset the lock.
Cool looking knife and blade, Minibear. How was it to work with the D2? I once tried .125" thick ATS-34 in the past and found it fairly easy to work with. I also like the handle design--did you use a hand-held device for the grinds? Again, congrats on the folder!

Thank you. The D2 was very soft, and easy to work with. I'm not a great sharpener, but compared to my Endura, the D2 seems to sharpen very easily. I used a round file to make the handle. Can't wait to take it hiking next month!

Glad to hear the D2 was easy to work with. I'm thinking about ordering more ATS-34 1/8" stock for an upcoming project. (Seems like it was also pretty easy to work with--prior to the heat treating, of course). If you don't mind my asking, how much did the Texas Knife Supply charge for the heat treat for your blade?

Thanks a lot gullwing! Your knives look a lot more polished, but every knife I make is better than the last, so I'm still hopeful. BTW, how many knives have you made gull?
