Air - pouch?

#1

Post by gbelleh »

It seems the Air is here. But I haven't heard about a pouch? Does it come with one?

I was at the SFO today and the Air was there. It's very nice. Lightweight and incredibly smooth and it fit my hand quite well. I'm not sure if I'm going to order one but it is a very nice knife.

Are the scales smooth? Or similar to the twill texture of the larger Gayle Bradley?

The scales are a pit textured. It isn't like the GB or Sage but it's not as smooth as the Caly. I would say somewhere in the middle and a nice balance.

I think I'm going to make a leather pouch for it, but as far as one for sale... not yet. I'm sure someone will put some on ebay after a few weeks. There are also some guys on the forum that really do some nice leather work. You may have to send your new knife away to be fitted if they don't already have one already.

Hve someone make you a nice leather pocket sheath, similar to those used with the Sebenzas.
