Happy Birthday Doctor Hannibal Lecter MD
Happy Birthday Doctor Hannibal Lecter MD
I just noticed that today is the BIRHTDAY for one of our great Spyderville community members. He is a foremost Hawkbill expert and afficionado of Spyderco's finest cutlery. Yes Doctor Hannibal Lecter MD is celebrating his Birthday today.
I want to take the time to wish our "in house" staff Hawkbill specialist Dr. Hannibal Lecter a super Birthday today and I truly hope that he starts posting again on the Great Spyderco Forum again when time permits.
 Oh by the way Doctor Lecter we do have a fixed blade Hawkbill thread running you might want to take a look at
Another reason for the return of the G-10 Harpy :D

My Dear Friends,
Sincere appreciation for the birthday wishes!
I admit that I don't post much these days - work keeps me from the various fora to a great extent. That said, I do check in here from time to time and try as best I can to keep up with the goings-on. I still carry Spyderco knives as my primary edged tools - my Tasman Salt is always clipped to my kayaking vest and my Harpy is never far from hand.
As far as the injury is concerned, I am likely as healed as I am going to get. I had a close-call/bad scare earlier this year when I re-injured it, but I managed to get the pressure off of the tendon quickly enough to avoid any serious complications (it ended up pulled a bit rather than torn).
Again, my sincere thanks for the birthday wishes - I will endeavor to stop by here more often and contribute as time permits!
Warm regards,
Hannibal Lecter
