Cool, there were some pre 98 black bladed Delica(s) at Bladeart.com, but the steel was AUS-6 (or ATS-55) and the handles were black with the integral zytel clip.
Enjoy your new knife, it's a fine acquisition at a good price.

Let me lend some assistance to your needs!!!

E-mail me at tquaas@spyderco.com

And I will list you the authorized dealers that will have this pretty baby.

Just to give you some info - all the specs are the same as your typical FRN LW Delica. And the obvious differences is the coating on the blade and Olive Drab FRN handle (This was only produced with ComboEdge). It is one of our Distributor's Exclusive.

Need more info? Drop me a line. Glad to help out.

I saw this one too. As far as I know, this is the same knife that is being offered to collectors. I know I don't have mine yet, and the MSRP is about $75.

You got a smokin'deal and you're the first on the block to have one. Enjoy!

Hi Blushing Disorder,

Well, you can email Joan Parson at Spyderco, jparson@spyderco.com and she'll sign you up in the collector club. You can pick any unassigned number, and you get ALL the new production (which you have to take) and any variations you want. They send them to a dealer (you have to go through a dealer), who sells them to you. The cost to sign up is free, but you are committed to buy one of everything Spyderco makes. The cost can be high or not too bad, depending on Spyderco's new models and the dealer markup (they range from a little above wholesale to full retail). Just remember, it's a commitment you must keep. If you're a collector, you must buy everything they make (excluding variations), with you own number on the blade. Are there any dealers in Italy?

swede, i got it, i hoped that was spyderco directly to sell to collectors..since ,if i must buy from italian dealer..well,i.e., here a i've seen navigator at 140 usd (a little for taxes and costs, a little for avidity, since Spydyes are so well built and designed, it's easy to sell them pricey - for real ,at the moment , with the crisis risin' high, i think if spydies would be priced as they are in USA, they would sell a lot more )..mm,i'm sorry ,i probally will buy all the new S. production the same, but NOT priced 300% more than factory suggested prices..

i think i'll stay -for moment- on free hunting territories..
thanks for info.

regards
