This is a light, fun picture in my front yard. I gathered some local leaves to set the background. Thank you.

I appreciate your kind words, Pneumothorax. :) I also love this little knife. (This is for two main reasons: one, because of the Micro Dyad's unique design and superior craftsmanship, and two, because I'm a also a nut for the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise :o ).

I discovered this neat array of colors as I walked across my living room one evening a few weeks ago. I thought to myself, "Hmmm. This might make a good picture." I quickly grabbed the camera and tried my best to line up the Dyad in the light. (It was kind of tough because the beam kept moving!). On a side note, I'm pretty confident my wife thought I was nuts when she found me lying face down on the carpet with the camera as I tried to take "yet another" picture of my knives. ;)

Model:
C158TIP Techno

The Techno combines modern, progressive and artistic design elements with an organic feel which is immediately pleasing to both the eye and hand.

The Blue G10 back spacer inspired me to contrast these attributes with some vintage Blue and White marbles that belonged to my Father when he was child.

Thank you for the opportunity.

Ok so here goes.

This is my Meerkat, I was a little unsure about what to do with it when I got it. I was doing some general repairs around the house one day and happen to see it on a table and so grabbed it in case I needed a knife. Turned out I did...and this little guy has become my odd jobs around the house knife. It is handy and fun and I find that it works really well for fine work.

jackrl98, I do not know who to email, but as for posting it on this site, you first need to put the photo onto a photo sharing site- I use photobucket. Then, you find the direct link to the photo (in photobucket you mouse over the image and there's a little drop down with all the links.) Copy that link, click on the 'Insert Image' tab on the Spyderco Forum reply box, it's at the top, 3rd from the right. Paste your image, and click ok. For me, I usually need to uncheck the box that says 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally'. I'm sorry if this is redundant, but maybe it'll help.

Originally my idea for the photo was a still life in marine debris ; old fishing line, poly-pro line, cargo netting, anything plastic and so while taking the photo's I lost my daylight and most of the shots were out of focus from a slow shutter speed and so while walking off the beach I saw the moon over the Pacific and a palm tree was in the way and thus the picture. I have been scuba diving since'72 and having a quality knife at hand is very important underwater and on land.

The Rock Lobster has always struck me as pure art. I love everything about it but the blade shape is what puts it over the top for me.

Model: MT08P Mule Team 8 Aogami Super Blue

This knife is a special one for me because my girl gifted this to me for our one year anniversary. I love the Mule Team Project idea...a knife blank which you can finish yourself with handles and/or a sheath- and that's exactly what I did. The scales on this Mule are Halpern Titanium's Option 4 G-10 and the sheath was made custom out of kydex and feature's Spyderco's awesome G-Clip to give it that factory look. Thank you for the chance!

Here is a picture of a favorite Spyderco knife, the Stretch. I took this picture while my wife and I were traveling through Utah visiting the National Parks. This picture was taken in Capitol Reef NP. The Stretch was a good companion for the trip.
