I really enjoyed this and thought I would share. If you like Beethoven's 9th symphony, you will love this. A little girl approaches a man with a double bass and a hat on the ground, and it grows from there. Enjoy.

Hey Doc do you remember the movie "CLOCKWORK ORANGE" by chance? That movie was not only a very controversial flick for it's time but the Beethoven music in it was truly genius. I used to have the soundtrack of that movie and played it often.
It seems like there was another Stanley Kubrick movie that had Beethoven music as well. Just thought you would want to check it out. >>> JD

I associate it more with one of my top ten favorite movies - Die Hard. :)

Watching this beautiful moment unfold with so many people holding up phones and cameras, I was reminded of a John Mayer lyric:
"Didn't have a camera by my side this time. Hoping I would see the world with both my eyes...no more 3x5's"
Sometimes we need to leave the devices alone, take it all in and allow our mind and soul to hold that moment forever.
Thanks for posting Doc.

I visited Beethoven's birthplace museum in Bonn last summer. They have computer terminals with headphones that allow you to compare and contrast themes within Beethoven's music. It is amazing how much of Beethoven's technical innovations over his lifespan were fully realized in this masterpiece.
