My first Spyderco! (Finally)

#1

Post by Exile. »

Well I'm still saving up for a Para2 (or something ;) ) but I finally decided I had enough of my Griptilian sitting on the shelf unused when it could be money toward a Spydie. I put it up on the ol CraigsList and not 15 minutes later I had a trade offer.
Long story short, got myself a like new, in box blue Endura 4 :)
Love it, and glad to finally be part of the Spyderco fold!
In terms of price new, I guess it was a "hit", but in terms of how much I enjoy the Endura over the Grip it feels like a fantastic deal :)
(sorry for the crap picture)

I just joined the Spyderco addiction recently and the Endura wave was my last addition to the family.

I'm not knocking on BM because I know they make a good product, their offerings just don't do it for me.

Nice! Welcome to your new addiction.

Yeah make the Para 2 your next move. Nothing fits in the hand better. The sage line is also fantastic with a 3" blade

I think you really got a good deal. Not because of what the knives cost because I don't know what a Griptillian costs. But an unused knife is money down the toilet IMO since I don't collect knives. The Endura is a great knife. I like blue also. You got the FFG model which is nice also. Congratulations. Of course you will need a Delica now because it is the Endura's little brother. You don't want the Endura to be an only knife do you? :)

Congrats Exile, Enjoy the Endura :) .......I don't think the picture is bad at all :) I won't point out what I see because you most likely see it better :) .........Enjoy :)

IMO the Endura is the best all around utility knife. At least it's my favorite. I have that exact model. The blue just pops. Congrats on the beginning of your new addiction. :p

Love the Endura/Delica series and I can almost guarantee at some point you'll be picking up another or its younger brother! My first spyderco was the sage CF, thought I was going to be spoiled to spyderco but after picking up an Endura, that thing gets more pocket time than you can imagine... Well, you probably can cause you own one! Congratz
