The latest edition to the Spyder family. Couldn't be more impressed with the Wilson. Home run Spyderco.

I "lost" my original a couple years back and found this one at more than a reasonable price. Reunited and it feels so good...

I had special ordered the Harpy from SFSW. Took 12 weeks to get it. And still didn't get it right.
I wanted the web strands to be jasper or red coral, not jet (black). They got that right, but wanted the web moved to the end of the handle and the bug ON the web. As you can see, didn't get that right.
But, I'll take it anyway, isn't worth waiting another 12 weeks.

Brown Paramilitary 2 CPM-S35VN

I have already posted some pics of this new addition over in the General Discussion section (Brown Para 2 thread). But I can't pass up an opportunity to post a few more. So, without further ado, here is my new Brown Para 2...

Oops! ~ Looks like we have company!

This little guy will be bumping my first love, a Digicam DLC Para 2, out of my pocket and become my primary EDC for a while. So far I am very pleased with the fit and finish on this new offering from Golden, Colorado. It is everything I have grown to expect from the Paramilitary 2 in the way it feels and performs. It is absolutely flawless! And, as I stated in the other thread, it was as smooth as butter right out of the box.

While I actually prefer the way the full Military model feels in my hand, the Paramilitary 2 gets the nod for EDC because of the tip up carry and the compression lock. If the good folks at Spyderco ever decide to give us a Military with those two features/options (Nudge Nudge ~ Wink Wink), that would no doubt be my permanent Every Day Carry. Until then it will be the Para 2. And, for now, it will be my new brown Para 2 with CPM-S35VN steel.

Thank you Sal and Eric, and everyone who made this knife and all of the fine Spyderco knives available to us Knife-a-holics!

Nice haul, indeed. I think my wife would file for divorce. Kinda joking, kinda not.

I really wanted to try one of these when I saw them go up on his site earlier last week. Would you mind giving us your initial impressions and / or a review after you have some use under your belt?
