At present, probably my H1 Spyderhawk SE as it cuts the **** out of everything. I'd rather have the performance and wear resistance at the expense of food prep as that is really secondary for me. I still carry a FFG Manix 2 (either CTS-XHP or M4) slightly more as I carry it with the smaller Byrd Hawkbill often.

Para 2.

For me it is just about the "end-all be-all" knife.

The Resilience it can cut and slice perfectly, G10 won't allow it to slip off my hand easily, and lastly because it's the largest folder in my collection. I would love it to be a Military or a Szabo Folder (if I could afford it! Hahaha). Aside from it being a great tool, someone taught me that in a knife fight, bring the biggest one you can handle. I would never want to be in one but I d like to know I carry something potent in the event I am put in a perilous situation.

My Caly 3.5 SB has been in my pocket non stop since last fall.

It does about everything I need from an EDC folder.

Sage 1: Perfectly smooth, sleek without looking unusably nice, good grip, perfect ergonomics, sharp steel, balanced grind, wire clip, and strong lock. there is nothing missing in this knife. Also replaceable since it's normal production.

CF Stretch as always.

I would miss the Viele 1 and the Kris most.

My para2(such a great knife)... But it might change when I get the SOUTHARD flipper or the GB. If I could put these knives into one knife that would be the perfect knife for me!

Oringal big C-44 Dyad in VG-10

#60

Post by JD Spydo »

If it was narrowed down to one Spyderco folder and only one I would go for the C-44 Dyad ( the original large Dyad).

I've been lobbying like crazy for the return of the C-44 Dyad in either VG-10 or one of the other newer steels.

With one full sized sheepsfoot Spyderedged blade and one streamlined clip point blade all in one folder I don't even see there being a close second.

C-44 big Dyad>> preferrably with VG-10
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!
