No worries man, and welcome!

I was just making a suggestion, since all I could see when I clicked on this post was "((((((((((((((((((((((((((((S" I didnt realize you were a new member who did not know better, sorry about that. Others seem to think I was being "gruff" in my other statements, when I was just trying to express my viewpoint.

You know through text almost all of the actual "communication" is lost. You cant read my tone, how I meant it, body language, or anything. You just have to take the literal meaning of my words, which can cause misunderstandings. I did not mean to cause a row. I too love the junior!

feel free to poke away, I also think YOU should not have been censored. Nothing gets accomplished. People should be able to speak their minds, and if that is no longer allowed here, I think I may go elsewhere.

chuck, with the things you have said to people on this forum, I would think you would be the last to support censorship.

I have turned over a new leaf DC. :D

And Taz was instrumental in that change because of how nice she treated me in spite of my shenanigans.

I feel I may regret this, what is an "oil check?"

...the definition I fear might actually be "censor worthy" judging by the context...

This isn’t a college political science class. Censorship on the internet is how you control mayhem, it’s not the limiting of a human rights to execute the freedom of speech in a controlled civil medium.

Taz, Sal and Co have no responsibility to give us a podium. They generously host a public forum for us to discuss knives and almost everything else on our minds. They don’t take to vulgarity, bullying, political or religious threads. These are heated topics best left to different avenues.

Censorship in general is a double-edged sword. It limits discussion and it also protects people. As one with a propensity for trash talking and annoying people it’s probably for the best. I’ve also yet to be censored which speaks volumes to the Spydie-crew’s level of patience.

Welcoming new people is the best policy. Give them more strikes than they allow in baseball and hope the learning curve works out. We all started there once and the people who don't evolve tend to leave on their own accord.
