Is Spyderco working on any new butterfly knives?

#1

Post by thelock »

Hi,

I am looking to get a butterfly knife and I really like the old spyderco designs, like the Szabofly and the Spyderfly, but those are hard to find, so does anyone know if Spyderco is working on anything new?

BTW the smallfly is to small for my taste.

Thank you for the interest. At this time, there isn't anything new in the works that I'm aware of.
There is nothing more important than this one day.

I would LOVE to be able to get my hands on a Spyderfly or SzaboFly... like you said they are just too pricey on the secondary market now. I love my Smallfly!

I have an inexpensive folder with ergos that somewhat resemble the SzaboFly. curve of handles and blade are similar. I'd love to have the real thing to flip.

It would be a shame if Spyderco never got back into the full size Bali market. I have combed the planet and managed to find myself a G10, 440c and Rainbow for my collection of Balisong. I know there is a lot of respect for the BM42 but I have to say that I like the Spyderfly a lot more! I know one thing, if there is another move on Spyderco's part in that market again, there will be a lot more respect and interest given the last full size Bali they did.

Under 2" for California please?! But then it can't be shipped... or is it okay to ship to stores where we then buy it from?
