Idea for a Stretch sprint run

Considering the Stretch is one of Spyderco's most iconic hunting knife what if we kept the blade shape but changed the handle to be reminiscent of perhaps the most famous folding hunting knife: the Buck 110 (http://www.mainlyhunting.co.nz/images/p ... aeea6c.jpg)

I think the Stretch looks fantastic with wood scales and single bolsters. Double bolsters should look excellent as well. OTOH, I'd strongly prefer stainless for the bolsters. Brass scratches if you look at it cross-eyed, dings almost as easily, leave your hands smelling funky, and get's that nasty green gunk that smells even funkier on it if it sits for a while.

I hate it! :)

Actually, it sounds reasonable to me. It would be nice if we could add a little more openings on the back to add for venting/cleaning.

I like it how it is, but I would like to see a return of a classic clip point blade somehow.

- best wishes, Jazz.

I would love one. And I agree about the stainless bolsters instead of brass. I have a solid brass pen (Hinderer investigator pen) and it leaves my hands smelling funky after I use it. I love the color of brass though and wouldn't be opposed to it.

I am interested in any new stretch variant! :D
The twin bolsters & wood scales would look very classy I think.
The image linked by The Deacon is superb! :D
