Been looking at it for about 2 months and hesitating with it being a lot more than my second purchase (native @ £40) but it just looks too **** pretty. I love the black blade.

Just to be certain, there isn't a better version of the manix ii around? I've noticed there's a few different variations with the handle (translucent blue for example) This is just the look of it, right? there isn't anything extra special added to it like different steel in the blade?

The translucent blue Manix 2 has no liners, weighs a lot less, has a flat grind, and has a lower end steel on it.

There is still the M4/Tan Manix 2 for sale, that has a little nicer steel on it, liners, flat grind, but is not stain resistant.

Man..stuff is expensive in the UK! Sweet knife though!
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

You don't know the half of it! In U.S. Dollars that's about $179 US. Always amazed me the prices there when I went to visit my wife, before she became my wife. :)

I have the same version of the Manix 2 and it has served me well. I carried it everyday for about a year. But I have heard about manix's in the near future being S30V blade steel, not sure if they will include the DLC blades or not (don't see why not though). Great knife I'm sure you will soon find out.

The black blade on the Manix gives a certain cool look. I like it
a lot. Congrats, I know that you will love it. I have the satin blade
and it feels great in the hands and is a beast of a knife, solid.

Nice choice. I prefer the all black Manix2 over the all black Para2 for that very reason, it is all black. Looks like something the Dark Knight would have clipped to his utility belt.

I ended up cancelling the order on the 10th and i've just re ordered it again. Between me not getting paid what I was owed by my boss and not being too sure on the weight of the knife, i wasn't sure. When I realised that the knife is lighter than my iPhone 4 though I re ordered it. I don't get why you'd want a lighter knife, IMO they tend to feel tacky when they're too light.
