Yes and yes. Many people go there just to buy special blades that you can't get on the open market. They in turn sell those blades for profit. That's their business...to make money.

Depends on what you're looking to buy, but almost all the exhibitors at Blade sell there, or at least go there looking to sell. You can find all manner of knives, everything from antiques to high end customs. Plenty of knife making supplies, sharpening equipment, and accessories as well. And, as elsewhere, some dealers sell at discount, some do not.

I hope to make this. Would be nice to see all the different knives and assorted supplies and equipment.
