Lime Green FRN anyone?
Lime Green FRN anyone?
Ever since the Lime Green Jester came out a number of years ago, I always hoped for more offerings in Lime Green FRN. Recently, USN had two knives done up in what is known as Toxic Green (Endura and Catcherman). Nothing against USN, but a black blade, part serrated knife is not my cup of tea. My hope is that USN has not somehow claimed the color and Spyderco will not produce anymore Lime/Toxic FRN knives except they be for USN. Simply put, I just love the color. I keep waiting for the day, if it will ever come, for something done up from Spyderco in Lime/Toxic Green.

I would love to hear from Sal or have any other Spyderco employee's input on the future use of Lime/Toxic green. I know bold colors are not for everyone and there is an inherent marketing risk, but I just need to know.

I'd imagine they'd refrain from calling it Toxic Green unless it was being done for the USN. But since Spyderco has used lime green in the past, I suspect the only issue would be whether they felt it would sell.

I respectfully disagree. That green was once called "Playdough" green by Kristi. I am very happy that Spyderco introduced all the Endura and Delica colors, but that green ain't Lime. :)Donut wrote:I consider the Endura and Delica Green FRN to be "Lime" green. Anything outside of that would be something else, like Toxic Green.
