That Chaparral looks stunning! Probably not a knife for me, but it is spectacular that is for sure....though I still look at that choil and wish that it was edge.
I really do like the flipper...except that it's not for us lefties. I've pretty much given up on Spyderco ever making a lefty frame lock, and have started looking elsewhere for one.
I was thinking about getting Chaparral, but decided to wait until Spyderco will produce variant with wood handle. Now, most likely I will not be able to do this. Never care about Titanium handled knives as well. It looks like 2012 is going to change it. Fluted Native first, than Chaparral. Just wondering where I am going to get all these $$$$$$$$$$$?

I appreciate the round-up; everyone a remarkable, stunning piece. I always look forward to this time of year when the daffodils bloom and the new crop of Spidies bud.
Thanks to everyone involved for allowing this preview to happen.

Another long awaited design was the Brad Southard Folder, which will be Spyderco’s first ‘flipper’ design folding knife. The blade certainly flipped open very smoothly. The knife felt very solid without being too heavy. I like the brown or coyote G10.
So excited for the Southard folder! It looks like it has a pretty amazing blade length to handle ratio. Between this and the Tuff, this going to be an incredible (and expensive ) year!
