Totally! I miss those short reviews without the "turn camera on my face for extreme close-up".

In fact, that goes for every reviewer. Long reviews are great if it's all new content but it generally just babbling and ineffective reviewing. The vanity of putting your face on camera is really just that. Unless you're doing something where I need to see your limbs in context let's keep the product on camera. Calvin Kleine isn't looking for models on YouTube nor is James Cameron looking for actors.

You know what will be real funny. If someone actually buys one of those of the bay for $500.

Compared to a $500 persistance a $300 lionspy sounds like a bargain. :)

Yes but you guys are forgetting about "Second Kind of cool". Thats what those knives are. Anyways, Take everything into consideration, The knife has a $55 Retail value, Add a $65 dollar paint job you have $120 the other $10 is The signature/Certificate & rarity. If you think about it like this, It's really not that crazy. :p

I have no problem with nutnfancy at all.

I wouldnt pay $30 for this knife before the treatment.

Im laughing at the fact that they are being bought at these crazy high prices for this whatever you call it paint job with a certificate that comes with it. This to me is a 100% loss of money you wont be getting back in the end. If youre edcing something like this maybe id understand for a second then id be lost again but to hang onto this as a holy grail makes NO sense at all. no way in **** youre going to make your money back. I hope Im wrong for the people that bought them.

On the bright side maybe if its their first Spyderco theyll end up buying better models as most do.

I like the concept of "Pimp-my-Knife".

Though this has been done in smaller scale by knife enthusiasts (like engraved SS spydies, custom handled mules etc), one does have to recognize the fact that Nutnfancy has done something great.

Anyone know where I can check out those cool survival knifes that come with signal flares and a launcher built in to the sheath as well as other cool stuff hoarded inside the sheath compartments? No, I am not talking about the inspector gadget blade.

Wow, just noticed a significant price drop... I still wouldn't buy it. For a few dollars more anyone could get a Lionspy. Wonder if someone pointed out to the listing member how ridiculous the BIN price was.

The Lionspy is $499 msrp which many sell for 40% off. I think at CS it will be $300 +/-.

LMAO is that a joke! Nuttin is cool but the knives are not. He should have saved face and had a Spyderco sprint run done.

I think he was just going along with the current economy, and was wanting to keep it under $1000.

Meh? I don't know if I agree with that. What exactly does he work hard at?

I will give him props for trying to extend something to his viewers. I don't think he's making much (if anything) on these and he can't control the eBay profiteers.

Silly or not I think intent is in the right place. In the end, it's the most fair to judge on that quality :) .
