Pick up the black 154cm version while they are still around! And cheap!

Sprint runs are fun too.

The price is just starting to drop in the uk, so im going to keep an eye on it, i really like the liner cut out/ added grip, its the thing that attracted me to manix 2, (sad i know ) :o

hey guys,
the digicam manix 2 is one of my favorites also.

a fellow on these forums did all the mods to the knife: added the digicam g10 scales, reshaped the handle profile, and removed all the protruding jimping.
the g10 scales are thicker than the originals, which for me, made the ball cage harder to manipulate.
i ended up putting a 1/4" radius at each end of the opening for the cage, so i could get my fingers on the lock for disengagement.
one other thing i did was to modify the tang where the ball rides.
due to the handle reshaping, the tang had to be reshaped to conform to the area behind the choil. this left a "flat spot" on the round tang, with a small radius on each side. i made these larger, so the ball had a less drastic path to follow.
this" flat spot" also gives the blade a half stop, which is kind of cool when closing the blade. just in case my fingers are in the way.
it's much more user friendly now.
later,
don

It is one of my favorites, I got it used from another collector a year ago and at a smoking deal because he had carried it. I have not had the nerve to cut anything with it yet, but I plan to use it one day. For now it keeps my other M2s company.
