I've purchased a few items from Jose Diaz and have been fascinated with his cutting competition knives. They were too expensive for my meager interest, but I just bought a used one on ebay for a very reasonable price. It's 52100:

What don't you want to cut with that thing? It really is amazing how thin he gets those behind the edge. I've been tempted, but have not yet gotten one. Congrats on the find!

That's what I ended up doing too. I miss the little tool for the pictures. Nice knife, BTW! It looks like a serious cutter. You'll have to let us know how it does in more mundane tasks as well. I would think something like that would be useful in the kitchen. Not as much belly as a Santoku, but not too far off.
