Nice set of blades there NightHawk.

How does the salt H1 feel in your hands in comparison to the Millie. I just got my Camo Millie too and like it a lot.

I love the Millie straight out of the box. It's a perfect fit for my hands (24cm/9.5in span for reference). The Pacific Salt is that bit smaller of course, but the first thing I notice is the FRN handles on the PS as opposed to the Millie's G10. I much prefer the latter.

That said the Pacific Salt is really nice in the hand, and I like mid-handle lock-backs so you can open and close single handed. It's insanely sharp, as is the Endura 4 ZDP. I don't have a local stockist so couldn't try any of these out before I ordered and I hesitated over the Pacific Salt but was intrigued by the H1 blade. I figured if I didn't like it I could always move it on, but I'll definitely be keeping it and slotting it into the EDC rotation, and probably will be my main go to blade when we are camping down the coast and stuff gets wet.

I'd say if you were considering it, and found it at a good price, go for it.

Excellent choices Nighthawk!

I could live with any of those as a daily EDC but mostly carry a VG10 E4 . In fact I've carried an Endura of one kind or another since 92. I still have my first and it's still carryable to this day. Old Spyderco's just seem to get smoother.

The Stretch, GB, and Caly 3.5 go along for a ride too pretty often but it's unuaual for me to be totally Endura-less.

They are so familiar in my hands I can use them in the dark, and sharpening them to the angles I like has become almost automated.

How much vertical blade play do the Pacific Salt and Endura have? All backlock spydies I had a chance to handle have some to varying degrees (I find this rather annoying in use).

Thanks,
