Most of that stuff is listed by 3rd party, can't blame Amazon.

It'd be nice if it was at least released as an e-book on Kindle or some such. No printing costs and they can get the book back out there and make some money off of it. I, too, have seen several illegal ebook downloads so why shouldn't the company release it so us law abiding citizens can get ahold of it?

The book is now up to $71.00.
I am going to own this book, I don't care. I think the book was made with the intension of being a collector. I'll take the chance. What do I got to loose, money? It's only paper. I give it away every week anyways..... :(

Yeah, "it's only paper". Until you need it for stuff like ... food, heat, annoying stuff like that.

I just received the book. Picked it up on eBay in an auction style sale for $86.00 with free shipping. The book is hard cover and in brand new condition. So far an excellent read. Now.....the only thing that would make it even better would be to have Sal's autograph on it (and maybe Mr. Schempp?)
Really, the book is great, and so is the story, a real American story. I have noticed that not that many people even heard of Spyderco knives, or even understand them (yes, you have to "understand" this knife.) But those that I meet that do own them and are fans, know, they know, and speak the language. It really is a unique knife, with some really unique folks running the shop.
Good for you Sal! God Bless.
