jjcoolay: Opinel is the company. Nice handles, but the blades are a bit thin for my taste.

Hey Carlos, I'd forgotten that I was officially a troublemaker <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> (like you). Maybe this project isn't impossible after all, we just need to stir a little harder <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

Please, please make an ivory micarta Spydie <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

If not the Lum, then the Kiwi.

People, how about the information on traditional leaf-blade?

Somebody saw the information on them in a network?

I do not want to tire with these questions Bob Lum. :-)

Many thanks Jonathan - I've been on to Joe and he is seeking me out a Shi-Lin.

Just love that blade shape. I'd buy a white G10 or Micarta Spydie leaf-blade too if they ever made one. Is there another respected Chinese knifemaker Spyderco could do a collaboration with?

You're welcome Dave. I hope you get one soon. You'll like it <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I have to say that I really like the ethnic/modern hybrid knives that Spyderco has done. It's a really cool concept and I'd love to see that continued.
