1st Delica

Hi,

I've EDCed my Caly 3 for about 4 years and I like it but I wanted to try something else for a change.

Today I got my first Delica 4, the Black FRN PE Saber version.
First impression: opening and closing the D4 is pretty much the same as the C3, the biggest differences are the handle material, blade grind and clip.
I think I will like it but only time will tell. I plan to use it as my new EDC and give the Caly 3 some time off.

Also ordered a Endura 4 Black FRN Saber, not for EDC but just for fun :D .

Congrats! I used to have a SS Delica PE, but it mysteriously disappeared a few months ago

great little knife for EDC. I like to EDC something a bit bigger though and have my dragonfly2 as well for small cutting tasks in public :D

Sorry for your loss. Never lost a knife but i can imagine it hurts! I considered the Dfly 2 FRN but had no experience with FRN. D4 FRN feels good so maybe....

I just received my first Delica (only other Spydie is the Ambitous) I thought the saber grind and thicker blade would be strong and I liked the look of the black FRN and clip. I think I will get the matching Endura next as well.

I thought the saber grind and thicker blade would be stronger too. Compared to my Caly 3 I don't feel I have to be as carefull. Not that I abuse my knives but I do like to use them much and for all kinds of things.
