I saw the Chokwe above and had to show off my new one.

I got it yesterday in the mail. Lightly toasted the TI frame, and now I am waiting on some new G-10 scale material and some other minor parts. Will be here late this next week.
When I get it done, I will post the finished product in the mod thread.
Couldn't help but post my latest purchase, just forgot to take pics of it new, and in one piece.

My new knives next to my old, crappy, beat up, knife. I'm still waiting on my GB which has been in the mail for days, but is still showing no tracking info  I hate UPS mail invitations. Oh, and since I was supposed to get a Sage 1, but got a Sage 2 by mistake...I have a Sage 1 waiting to ship from Amazon.

These were given to me by my Uncle for some work I did for him. I actually got him into Spyderco. He loves small knives and started collecting ladybugs and Jesters.

How do you find that locking mechanism? It's a Reeves style frame lock right?

Yes it is a RIL, as they say "locks up like a bank vault".

Exactly what I was thinking.
But, I prefer the TI models, some don't.

cool pictures! how do you like that translucent blue M2? i held it for a bit at the SFO, but didnt fall in love with the feel. the manix 2 g10 felt much more solid. i am sure i will pick up the lightweight M2 down the road.......

BTW----i rack em up just like that for 8 ball as well in color coded and numerical order on the solids wrapping around the triangle :D
