Lol, I originally thought this thread was going to be about what knife you were opening on Christmas morning. I'm pretty sure I've got a PPT under the tree. I'll be using a G10 Delica to get at it. I may have something else under the tree too, I think I saw a Cutlery Shoppe come in a few days back. The wife thinks she's sneaky. :D
I would say my Manix2 or Millie... but they don't ride so great in PJ pockets... So most likely my Dragonfly2 or Delica FFG... And I am most excited to open the gifts from my sister since her Christmas shopping for me involved me making a wish list on CutleryShoppe and she went and picked stuff out of it! :) :) :) So I shall be using my Spydies to open its new brothers!
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms..disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one." - Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria
I think the Delica ffg can take care of anything needing opened. If a blister pack slows it down, I'll get a serrated salt out. If that doesn't work I've got a BIG hammer.
I will use my Caly3 CF for light ribbon and paper cutting. But when things get rough and I have to cut through zip ties and card board, I will quickly switch to the Cricket, with its recurved blade shape it will make short work of it all. I can't wait.
New to the forum. Long time spydie fan. Ironically, I spend Christmas eve with my parents and my brother and his 3 kids. (I'm married no kids.) We open presents on Christmas Eve with the kids, and one of the items of interest is what spydie is clipped to my pocket. New clam shell ripper is a Harpy... my employess got me a Stainless Harpy for a Christmas gift 2 years ago... its the go to Christmas Knife.
My constant companion is a beat up Delica.... (love it)... that will be the home knife on the morning of Christmas.
