For some reason no pictures from the PDF are showing on my iPad.

I uploaded it from the website and even downloaded it to my desktop and transferred it to my iPad through iTunes.

Any ideas?

Nevermind. Fixed.

If anyone else has any trouble with this, open the PDF in Acrobat Pro > advanced tab > PDF optimizer and uncheck "optimize images only if there is a reduction in size." PM me if you want a copy of a fixed version.

Yep, sorry, I know that was one heck of an acronym, but I'm a slow typist and Bear was telling me he needed a potty trip. :p

EDITED TO ADD: Put my order in and am really looking forward to the hard-copy version of this catalog.

Beautiful catalog! The black Tenacious is a must have.
Two question:
-How many Dodo will be produced?
-The Whale blade is 440c why not H1?

Significent wrote:Anyone know what steels the Sprints will be made of? Seems like an odd omission in the catalog. The c67Grp “R” Nishijin Glass Fiber PlainEdge looks like one I may have to have.
Other than a mistake (I've only found one) they may not have decided on the steel yet.

The Nishijin does look like a "getter". :)

As someone else already said, I wish the blade thickness was included in the specs (unless I missed it). I wouldn't have thought much about this until I got the Chaparral. That much difference is blade thickness could be a big deal for some on a particular knife.

Check out page 34 in the catalog where the 8.4" Lionspy is dwarfed by the huge 7" Centofante Memory. Pictures are powerful and I'm having a hard time visualizing the real sizes now.

Well, I couldn't help myself. I went and pre-ordered a Southfork. This will be the most expensive knife I own. I sure hope it lives up to my expectation and all of the positive chatter. Now if I could just find references to an ETA and the blade thickness.

Page 35, the Techno and Air, also has pictured sizes way off, although the folded photos look about right.

The catalog looks really good! I like the cover and 'what is a clipit' page. Layout and pictures are excellent. I particularly like the edge-u-cation about making steel.

Once the printed version of the catalog is available, I guess I'll have to order some more knives from Cutlery Shoppe. Jeff usually throws in a catalog with them, to keep you hooked and ordering more :) .
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

Yeah, I have an ever growing stack of catalogs from CS. So, I'm not planning to request a 2012 catalog from Spyderco.

I hope the blade thickness will still be included in the on-line catalog. Also, it seems they are using decimal and metric measurements and no fractions in the length measurements. No such thing as 2 13/16" anymore. :(

I ordered a catalog from Spyderco because I'm not going to buy any more knives so I won't be getting any from CS. Well, maybe one. :) When I have remembered I post a note with CS orders that I don't need a catalog.

Yeah, I really need to start doing that. At least, once I get a couple 2012 catalogs.

Sometimes Jeff throws in other little surprises too! :D
