Sorry, OT : AllenETreat ; opine(s)
To : ALL
O.K., it's time for some criticism from
the lot of you I ALREADY know what
they "think" of yours truly at Bladeforums.com, so what's your "take" or
"spin" on me? This one forum-ite at BF
discribed me as "eccentric" *PARDON ME!*
but judging by some of the BF post(s) I've
seen, I'm NOT alone in that one!
What say the augerers?

well, if you talk to most people on the strret, we're all a little crazy. The Ex-military have more on thier minds to think about(I've worked with a lot of them in cadets...). Most are more than a little crazy.
To tell you the truth, the guys at work think I'm truely insane, just from my edges.
Knife people are the only "normal" ppl as I see it, so in that sense you: you, like the rest of us, are normal. Everyone reacts differently to the same situation, due to upbringing, experience, and wisdom.
The only thing I don't like is all the bible stuff and "" ** {} [] ()s you put in all the time. I disrupted my fully-christian(learned to read from the bible) friend's beliefs by showing him a set of dates. Herod's years of power and death, and the command to "kill all children 2yrs and younger" would have been 7 BC.
My Word, My Honour, is my Life.

Hi AET
Us British usually aspire to being "eccentric", so don't sweat it
In "open" forums I feal people are free to say what they like, AS LONG as they are not personal attacks, not designed SOLELY to offend and that the poster actually BELIEVES what they say. From the posts I remember of yours AET I seem to remember that you satisfy all these, so all's OK with me
The trouble is that there seem to be far more people (usually on other boards) that seem to take great delight in insighting trouble with the type of examples I have listed above. The down side is that people with honest but contriversial statements tend to get lumped in with these reprobates by people who don't know them.
Walk softly, carry a big stick.

I'll agree with my Scottish brethren before me. Quit with the (s) and the excessive "usage" "of" "these", and the whole seems to flow much better. Aside from that, post on!
I'm sure I annoy people sometimes, it's a fact o' life.
Never underestimate the impossible.

"eccentric"
Syllables: ec-cen-tric
Parts of speech: adjective , noun
Part of Speech adjective
Pronunciation ehk sehn trihk
Definition 1. not adhering to the recognized or accepted manner, behavior, or thinking; unconventional; peculiar.
Example Eccentric people sometimes generate original ideas.
Well after looking up the word-Maybe-but I don't see that as being "bad" More like "opinionated" with some "sarcasm" throwin' in. Makes for good reading!
Since when do you give a rats butt what the "few" at BF think, especially at W&C there is some serious "bad" in-breeding there!
Heck man your my friend-you expect me to say something bad about you! Keep up the " " and ( ), it gives people something to focus on and something to "*****" about-besides it's your style, so don't change!
Now I doubt if anyone is really going to rip on the ripper so if it makes you feel better your a-
pain in the butt
an
A-Hole
and just go away-
Your friend'
ken
Besides anyone that still "Rocks and ROLLS" can't be bad!
And another thing-You can't judge a book by it's cover!
Gotta phone yet???

Allen heed the words of Joe Dirt:"you gotta keep on keepin on, lifes a garden dig it!"
Don't worry about the other forums, none compare to here anyways. Thats why I switched, too much clucking at those other ones.
You have a great knowledge about Spydies and your OT posts are great aswell. Ask anyone about the Spydie forum and they could all recollect reading something you had posted. Your presence would be missed if you were to stop posting so don't. Take care.

Brother Al,
Yeah, I'm gonna' jump on this one too. From what I've read in your posts from the past, you seem to be oppinionated, (not a bad thing) and set with a Scriptural background. (A very good thing.) Now, as the others have mentioned, the only thing that you may want to change is the constant use of () and [] and adding an (s) to most words. Say what you mean, mean what you say.
All in all, I think you're a pretty swell guy. I think that people can disagree agreeablly, if you know what I mean. Just take the "wheat with the tares" and run with it.
Thanks for listening, dude.

Dear Allen,
I don't know if the world would be better without people like you (I'd rather think it wouldn't), but it definitely would be boring. You are among the ones who bring spice to life, so keep up the good work.
