I don't know what it is about :spyder: versus other brands... but I can't EVER get enough... (everyone on here knows what I'm talking about)
Well... it happened again... somewhat impulsively (been eyeing it for a long time... so not really that impulsive) I just put my order in for my first Millie!!!
This is the most expensive :spyder: I have ever bought and it will be somewhat special because the Military is the first Spyderco I ever was shown (by my buddy DuvalDrummer... I blame him for the addiction...). It struck a chord with me about what a knife could become if I got out of my world of cheap, throw away knives.
I have a few Spydercos now... and was planning on getting the Para2... but for some reason lately the Military has been the only knife I could really focus on lately... which sounds more crazy than it actually is... So I placed the order and paid a little extra to have it here on Monday!
I am so freaking excited... its the Digi-Cam and Satin blade (I do love the DLC blades... that's what my friend has... but I have always been more partial to satin...)
Sorry for the rant... just super excited. Everyone on here knows how it feels...

The Spyder Sinks His Fangs Deeper...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms..disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one." - Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria
Yea I def. know...in the last 4-5 weeks I got the PM2, then a Superhawk...now I have a Ayoob on the way and a Yo2 ordered. I'm eyeballing the Navaja pretty hard now that it's back in stock. It's def. a sickness, but I figure what the heck, I have 2 sons who will inherit quite the knife collection.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Sorry to tell you the bad news but the Millie is going to bench all of your other knives, I have a few spydercos and a bunch of other knives and the Millie always finds it place in my pocket, I'll stop carrying for a few days and I have to go back to it, it's a perfect knife for all around tasks.

:spyder:~ SPYDERCO NAVIGATOR II ~ C93,~ SPYDERCO "S" BLACK ~ C109BKP, - SPYDERCO DELICA 4 FLAT GROUND FRN ~ C11F,- SPYDERCO ENDURA 4 FLAT GROUND FRN ~ C10F,- SPYDERCO ENDURA 4 FLAT GROUND FRN ~ C10F,- SPYDERCO PERSISTENCE G-10 ~ C136G,- SPYDERCO TENACIOUS ~ C122,- SPYDERCO MILITARY DIGITAL CAMOUFLAGE G-10 ~ C36GCMO.:spyder:
The unfound cure for the Spyderbite can be quite costly. Have the YO2 on the way, and my Gayle Bradley coming home after slight customizing (relief of scale and liner) to allow better access to Spyderhole and linerlock, I am really excited about this. Love the M4, my razors are jealous.
Have several on pre-order and Christmas gifts yet to buy. What a tangled web we weave. :D Reminder to self: throw wallet away. :o Sheer madness in buying, gladness in receiving, sadness in the unobtanium, and badness in a blade. Art refined and redefined. Thanks Spyderco and crew.
Perhaps I should try and convince my wife that I'm not buying knives, I'm investing in art. :p She being a multi-faceted artist might be swayed.......... if this is my last post, you'll know why.

I love the Mille. Although I've been buying Spydercos for a while now, it wasn't until about 6 months ago that I bought my 1st Mille. It's a little big, but very well suited for wearing with 5.11s, BDUs, or jeans. For the size, there aren't many (if any) lighter knives out there.
I often just get to noticing a particular Spyderco model and then start thinking about it more and more until it occurs to me that I 'must' have it. I suppose this is why my collection keeps growing, and growing, and growing.
Right now the knife I'm thinking more and more about is the Yo2. I didn't care for it just a couple of months ago, , ,but I suspect I will have one sooner rather than later now that I've found myself thinking about it.

This pretty much sums up what has been happening to me for about the past 9 months or so since I bought my first :spyder:SQSAR wrote:I often just get to noticing a particular Spyderco model and then start thinking about it more and more until it occurs to me that I 'must' have it.
