Which generation Endura did I just buy?

Ebay buy. Was just advertised as an 8.75" total length Seki City Spyderco. I got it for a cheap price.

It's pin construction. Waffle pattern on the FRN (EDIT: believe it's called "volcano"). No jimping on the spine of the blade. VG-10. Left or right tip up carry for the clip only. Logo in the middle is round (not oval) and says "CLIPIT" and "ENDURA." Saber ground. No steel liners (which is a good thing, IMHO).

This is my first and only Endura, although I have a Spyderhawk which I suppose is a similarly sized handle. I didn't expect the knife to feel SO much larger than a Delica, but it does. It's weird how photos and YouTube videos don't really give you a decent idea of the knife size at all. I find I have to actually HOLD the knife to understand the size of it. And very small differences in knife size matter a whole lot.

Anyway, the knife is a bit of a beater ... with some light blade scratching and paint worn on the clip. But it cleaned up pretty well. I very briefly sharpened and stropped it and could shave hair off my arm. I really like it.

Known as a gen 3
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Yep, it is a late production Endura 3.

If I remember correctly, Spyderco changed from a hollow ground ATS 55 blade to a Flat Sabre ground VG 10 blade right around 2001 or there about.
