The Chaparral and the Native 5 are both very nice knives, no argument there.

But for the classic Spyderco experience, nothing beats an FRN Delica. Or maybe the G-10 Dragonfly if you like the feel of G-10 better. There's a reason that the Delica is one of their best-selling and longest-lived designs.

Plus that leaves plenty of room in the budget for your next knife. Don't think that you're getting off easy with just one!

the G10 dragonfly is probably my most used knife. even though its my smaller/secondary carry, it most definitely sees the most action. it is a perfect compliment to my PPT and most recently the beloved Gayle Bradley.

thus i would go with the G10 dragonfly......then save up for the GB of course!

Yah, that's the one I wanna go with, its only like $72 as cutlery shoppe, that's the best price I can find.
I just like the way the dragonfly looks and I mile the foliage green, and I like the size (I don't even fit into small gloves very well) everything about it appeals to me.
The only thing is that I have heard that it's hard to flick it out, is this true? This isn't make or brake, I just think it'll be fun to flick it out every once in a while.
And once again, thank you so much for all of your opinions and suggestions, they are all greatly appriciated.

I just got an all black native with the combo edge. My favorite right now of my 5 Spydies.

With the smaller blade mass, it is harder to flick out. There's just less metal to push, but with practically the same friction at the pivot. You can still flick it out, however, but you have to practice doing a wrist flick while simultaneously pushing with your thumb. Spydercos with more blade mass tend to be easier, as you have more metal to shove and not really much more friction than with a small blade.

Recommend the Delica and one of anything else on your list.

Definately Apples. Although oranges are pretty good too, and strawberries. Better get one of each.
