I rarely have distilled spirits anymore, but my favorite would probably be D.O.M. Benedictine liqueur.

I received a bottle for a gift quite a few years back (too rich for my pocket) and it is quite good. Maybe my palate isn't educated enough to appreciate it, but I didn't find it any better than Black Label.

Actually, when it comes to Scotch, I prefer a single malt like Laphroig anyway. Two fingers, no ice please.

I remember liking Old Grandad. The only time I wouldn't take a shot of Old Grandad was when on the job when I was in the military. Then it was 2 shots of Old Grandad. Just kidding, alcohol and work is not a good mix. So I quit working. :)

I don't do shots, but for a regular drink it comes between Ron Zacapa 23 and Elijah Craig 18y/o Single Barrel with a bit of water.

A shot of Baker's makes me happy, but the combo of a shot of Jameson's and a Guinness will ALWAYS be near perfection.

Price aside, some things are too fine and are meant to be sipped slowly, my friend. My last bottle of Middleton's was enjoyed at a snail's pace - each occasional glass savored like it was the last thing I'd drink on my last night on Earth. However, to each their own, and you should absolutely enjoy such fineries however you see fit because that's what they were created for. Life is too short to drink drinks you don't enjoy.

Congrats on 11 years. I haven't drank in 16 but it was Jack and Coors light, (and lots of both).
