Custom Street Beat Sheath? Folders Wanted!

#1

Post by pmbspyder »

So I know there are a few threads about kydex guys on here, but it seems everywhere I turn makers are disappearing, and every email I send goes unanswered. All I'm looking for is a very simple fold over kydex sheath for my street beat...

Can you guys help me out with any recommendations here? People you've used recently? I'm not really trying to spend more than about $40 (including shipping)... I've tried Rivercity and Marion, but get no answers and don't really want to be that guy complaining in 3 months when I've sent money somewhere with no return. Additionally, it would be ideal if I didn't have to send the knife out seeing as it's a very popular model and I'm hoping the maker has one...

I've attached a few pics of the kind of sheath I'm looking for, with minimal excess kydex because I like to carry my fbs in my pocket (no clips, lanyards, etc). Thanks in advance for the help

My favorite kydex sheath was made by Tom Krein,of Krein knives. He made a kydex neck sheath for my small Scott Cook Owyhee. It look great, hold securely, and he's a fine fellow to deal with.

Hi pmbspyder! You can also try survival sheath systems; I have dealt with them many times in the past and recommend them (you can trust them with your knife). Do not deal with Marion Poff; see my thread in ''off topic'' (I am one of those guys you mention: 6 months later short some cash with no sheath).
Cheers

Thanks for the info guys! Do you know if Tom has the SB or would I have to send it in?

Any other suggestions from guys who have recently had good kydex work done?

you will not be disappointed. Price for sheaths starts at $32 depending on what you want.

I show no record of you having contacted me - even checked SPAM folder. I have Street Beat sheaths in stock, but they are a little more than $40. Standard is black Concealex with a Spyderco G-clip. Contact if interested.
