Yeah S&R is where I go...and I really like Rodney, great guy to deal with, but their prices, as good as they are, are easily beaten.
I'm hoping that once I am employed again I can go back there and spend some of my money at least to support them. Until I have steady money coming in, I am going to have to go with the cheapest option.

No One can beat Knife Works for speed of delivery or price. And I took a long time to discover this. I will only use them from now on. You should try them...

For me, they aren't that great...their shipping up here is just FAR too much. CS ships up here at about 1/3 the price.

Man, I wish I had a local shop to buy Spydies from :(

There are many terrific vendors out there and I've used a few of them, but Jeff (Cutlery Shoppe) gets almost all of my business these days.

I got my N5 off of ebay :o . Got it at a good price, was shipped fast and had really good feedback. No complaints here ;) . Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

My last knife came from on-line dealer

I also bought quite a few knives on the forums, so I think that the poll is missing one big category.

Also, buy from ebay quite a bit.

My latest buy, a Caly Jr ZDP189 came from JD Forums.
I am in the same boat. I use K-BST, BF, CPF-Marketplace, the Mighty JD, and USN quite a bit. I resort to eBay only when there is something irresistible...

Have never had a brick & mortar knife shop nearby with a decent selection of Spyderco knives. Almost all my older, "collectible" ones came from eBay, a few from BF, a few from friends here, and a few from JF Jensen and Dot Ayoob. Most of the ones that were current production when purchased came from NGK, with a few each from a dozen or so other online dealers, some of whom are no longer in business, and perhaps a couple dozen from SFO.

Very few B&M knife stores nearby. Since they are much more expensive than online vendors and only have a limited selection of Spydercos anyway, I've mostly bought on the internet so far.

But my latest Spyderco came from eBay (abalone/MOP Kopa : lucky find).

I tried my hand at KBST with no luck at all. Found some good prices there, but nobody willing to buy or trade my stuff. Maybe I am just a tad impatient. :)

I think that those of us on this board should use KBST more. It is a site created by board members if memory serves and it just doesn't seem to get enough traffic from us all.

Especially with there being a fairly good number of people that wish that there was at least a trading section to this site, KBST is the closest thing we are going to get.

My last Spyderco was the MBC 2011 camp knife (Mannix 2).

I seem to split mt business between the bay, the Spyderco outlet, the forums, and Craigslist.
